Pay: $24.00 – $35.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organized and customer-focused HVAC Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will be the central hub of our daily service operations — coordinating technician schedules, managing service calls, and ensuring our customers receive timely, professional support. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and can juggle multiple priorities without missing a beat.

Responsibilities

  1. Receive and process inbound service calls, emails, and online requests from residential and commercial customers
  2. Schedule and dispatch HVAC technicians for installation, maintenance, and repair calls based on location, skill set, and urgency
  3. Monitor technician schedules throughout the day and adjust assignments as new calls arise or situations change
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and field technicians, providing accurate ETAs and status updates
  5. Maintain accurate records of work orders, service history, customer information, and technician activity in the dispatch/CRM system
  6. Prioritize emergency and urgent calls appropriately, escalating when necessary
  7. Coordinate parts orders and procurement with the warehouse or supply team to support field technicians
  8. Follow up with customers after service calls to confirm satisfaction and close out work orders
  9. Assist with routing optimization to improve technician efficiency and reduce drive time
  10. Communicate professionally with customers to de-escalate concerns and ensure a positive service experience
  11. Support billing and invoicing by ensuring completed work orders are properly documented and submitted

Qualifications

Required:

  1. High school diploma or GED
  2. 1–2 years of dispatching, scheduling, or customer service experience (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other field service industries preferred)
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  4. Proficiency with computers; experience with dispatch or field service management software (e.g., Service Titan) is a plus
  5. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  6. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred:

  1. Familiarity with HVAC terminology and services
  2. Experience with routing or logistics coordination
  3. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
